Dr. Elliott shares her journey from teaching on the Navajo Reservation in the early 1970s to serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in South America, and from climbing the high peaks of the Andes to guiding young adventurers as an Outward Bound instructor in the Colorado Rockies. Her path eventually led her to the medical field, where she now cares for patients from across the United States.
Dr. Elliott discusses her rich and varied experiences, including the founding of a co-housing community in Santa Fe, known as The Commons, where she raised her son. She also delves into her TED talk from 2015, where she shared insights from her life of service and community building.
